DescriptionSleeps 8 persons on wooden sleeping platforms. Cabin includes wood stove and firewood (stacked in woodshed a short walk from the cabin); table; benches; bear proof food storage locker; and porch. A latrine is located a short distance from the cabin. Nearby water source is available (freshwater pond), but the water should be purified before drinking. You will need to split your own kindling to start a fire. We suggest bringing a small axe in the event the one provided is not there (unfortunately this happens at times). Please note that on extremely cold winter days, the cabin may take up to 4 hours to warm up. We suggest you start a fire and go for a walk while the cabin heats up.
