Please note that all commercial tours require a permit from Chugach State Park and the Ealge River Nature Center.

Non-Profit Groups:

All groups over 20 MUST HAVE A RESERVATION for a date with the Eagle River Nature Center and hold a permit per Chugach State Park regulations. A 7-day notice is required.

ASD Schools get their permits through ASD Community Resources at (907) 742-4146.

All other groups need to contact Chugach State Parks (CSP) Headquarters at (907) 345-5014 after reserving a date with us -- we will send your final confirmation to you once we have received a copy of your CSP permit. May and September are the busiest months – so reserve early!

IMPORTANT: Upper limit is a total of 70 persons. 1 chaperone is required for every 5 minors up to 3^rd grade, and 1 for every 10 minors for 4^th -12^thgrade. You must inform ERNC of your planned arrival, departure, and destination, so we can manage the impacts on trails, facilities and other users.

COSTS:
Self-guided groups of 20 or more people pay a user fee of $1/person + $5 parking fee for private vehicles (no charge for school buses). PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP UNANNOUNCED WITH A LARGE GROUP without a reservation and a permit from Chugach State Park.

A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required to hold your reservation; the balance of the payment is expected on the day of your visit.
