What You Can Expect to Find at the Nature Center

Inside, during our open hours you’ll find:
- helpful docents who can provide you with information about the trails, wildlife sightings, and programs
- indoor restrooms and water fountain
- cozy visitor lobby with comfortable seating next to a woodstove
- small nature gift shop with guide books, naturalist materials and souvenirs
- small self-service snack and beverages for purchase
- close-up corner area for children and adults to look at, touch and feel items from nature
- recycling containers
Outside the building you’ll find:
- outdoor restrooms at the front of the parking lot
- water fountain at the front corner of the building (summer only)
- area trail map inside our parking fee box next to the front entrance
- access around the building to the trailhead
- payphone next to the front entrance of the building
- picnic tables
- viewing scope
- access to trails and viewing platforms
- access to public use overnight facilities
