The trails are accessible 24 hours/day. The main facility is open to the general public during the following days and times or by appointment for organized groups.

Spring/Summer
May – August
7 days, 10am-5pm

Fall
September only
Tuesday – Sunday, 10am-5pm, closed Mondays

Winter
October – April
Fridays – Sundays, 10am-5pm, closed Monday-Thursday

Fees

Building admission - Free for non-organized groups and individuals.

Day use parking fees apply:
$5 for personal vehicles (cars, vans, motorcycles)
$15 for commercial vans & vehicles up to 15 passengers
$30 for commercial vehicles up to 30 passengers
$60 for commercial vehicles up to 60 passengers

Commercial operators must have a permit from Chugach State Park and a permit from the Eagle River Nature Center to conduct tours at the Nature Center.

Members receive annual parking decals and reduced fee for cabin and yurt rentals. Please go to Become a Member to find out more on how you can support us.

Programs are generally free, unless noted in the program schedule. Fees are charged for craft programs, workshops, pre-school programs and organized groups and schools.
