What to Expect During your VisitDepending on the timing, students will have a chance to take a look around inside the Nature Center at the displays. Before heading out on the trails for the program, students will be given an opportunity to use the restrooms. There are no restrooms along the trails, so if a child has an emergency, a parent or guardian will need to walk back to the Nature Center with the child. Depending on the weather, the trails may be muddy or slick. Students should come prepared with proper footwear (boots or water resistant shoes). Students may get dirty depending on the type of studies they may be conducting outside. Students are expected to stay with the group at all times and never run ahead of the leader. The area is home to bears, moose and other wildlife.
