Booklet Launch

Coming soon!!  We are excited to launch our Rodak Ranger Booklet.  Designed by Georia McKenzie (Tiny Nest Studio) and ERNC staff, the booklet is a wonderful activity guide kids can take along the Rodak trail and use to discover the flora, fauna and other wonders of the trail.  Stay tuned for the launch date and program details towards the end  of May.  Thank you to our amazing booklet sponsors, Heather & Phil Bottrell and ConocoPhillips Alaska.

Music in the Mountains

Get ready to get your groove on under the midnight sun for our annual Music in the Mountains fundraiser!  Coming up on June 14th, the event will feature local legends, GOOD COMPANY.  Food truck will be Pikiniki and local brews from Eagle River and Anchorage.

Bear Awareness

It's that time of year, our furry friends are up and about! It's time to start thinking about bear and moose safety when hiking on Alaska Trails.  You can find more information on hiking safely in bear and moose country by following the link below.

You’ll discover the beauty of the Eagle River Valley as you begin your drive along Eagle River Road. Residential areas will give way to breathtaking views of glacially-carved mountains. At Mile 12 you will reach the log cabin nature center – a threshold for connecting to the ever-changing landscape beyond. The Nature Center is operated by a small, grass roots non-profit organization. We hope you'll visit us and take some time to enjoy the trails and programs we offer.
