Fifty years ago, America landed the first humans on the Moon. Join us as we celebrate and explore who they were, what they did, what we learned, and what
we still want to know about our moon. We’ll also highlight present missions, NASA footage, how to make your own rocket, and other goodies!
This is a special astronomy program to commemorate the moon landing.
Our regular Astronomy series meets on the first Friday from October to March. Students ages 10 and up can earn their Jr.Astronomy certificate and astronomy
supplies by attending 4 astronomy programs and writing brief synopses of what they learned.
