Trees can't sneeze, but they can get sick, too! Explore how insects (including the dreaded spruce bark beetle), disease, and fungus can affect the health
of a tree and learn how to detect illness in your own yard. This is an “open house” format – stop by the classroom yurt anytime between 11am to 1pm.
About Jr. Naturalist:
Jr. Naturalist programs are themed, nature-based education programs designed for families with children in grades K-6th. Children always need to be accompanied by an adult.Children can earn their Junior Naturalist Badge by attending 12 programs designated Jr. Naturalist or All Ages Programs.
