Naturalist-guided visits are organized private groups (including homeschool groups, private schools and educational groups, universities, camps, scouts, and others) who hire our staff to provide them a program. 

Naturalist Guided visits: Homeschools and other private educational organizations (children and/or adults)

• Naturalist guided visits/field trips are available Tuesday-Friday
  
• Choose from a list of our ready-to-go program topics, or propose your own idea  - just click on the Program Topics link on the right.
• The standard field trip is 2 hours in length and includes a brief introduction in the main building or outside deck followed by instructional time along the 3/4 mile Rodak Nature Trail.

cost of instruction

•  2-hour instructional field trips start at $12/student, with $120 minimum.
• Prices may vary depending on group size, instruction time, etc.  Our  naturalist will discuss final cost with you upon confirmation of your program reservation.
• Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact us for more information.
