Bring your classroom on a truly unique field trip to the Eagle River Nature Center! Come out and enjoy a naturalist-led program and hike on our trails.
Field Trips are available Tuesday-Friday and some weekends.
You can choose from a list of our ready-to-go program topics, or propose your own idea - just click on the Program Topics link on the right.
The standard field trip is 2 hours of instructional time and includes a brief introduction in the main building or outside on the deck, followed by a ¾ mile hike around the Rodak Nature Trail.

Cost for Naturalist Guided Visits
Basic 2-hour field trips start at $6/student, with a $60 minimum.
Prices can vary depending on group size, program offered, etc. Naturalist will discuss final cost with you upon confirmation of your program reservation.

Please let the naturalist know if your group is planning to eat lunch at the nature center. Naturalist-guided groups may eat at the picnic tables outside of the nature center immediately before/after the scheduled program, or they may eat indoors October-April (only if arrangements have been made ahead of time).
