Crow Pass Trail, 1/10/2023 Update: Heavy snow on the Girdwood side of the trail is over a foot above 1000'. Trailhead access is not maintained in the winter for the last mile or so of the road. Hiking on the Girdwood side of the trail is not recommended due to the trail crossing through avalanche terrain. On the Eagle River Nature Center side of the trail, trail is snow-covered and boot packed at least to Echo Bend. The Nature Center packs the trail out to the Yukla Yurt, but past that the trail may or may not be boot packed by other hikers. To get an idea of how much snow is potentially up in Crow Pass, check out the Alyeska Snow Report for Glacier Bowl Express (GBX, it's about the same elevation as Crow Pass).
