Guided Group Visits

Eagle River Nature Center naturalist-guided visits are organized groups that are not part of the Anchorage School District or Mat-Su School district (including other school districts, homeschool groups, private schools and educational groups, universities, camps, scouts, and others) who hire our staff to provide them a program. 

Naturalist-guided Visits: 

(children and/or adults)

  • Guided visits are generally available Wednesday-Friday.
  • *Coming soon* Program outlines will be posted and aligned to state curriculum standards!
  • Adult groups and groups visiting during the summer months may opt for our Life Around the Pond program, our Albert Loop hike, or work with a naturalist to develop a custom program (as available).

Cost of Instruction

  •  2-hour instructional field trips start at $12/student, with a $120 minimum.
  • Prices may vary depending on group size, instruction time, etc. Our naturalist will discuss final cost with you upon confirmation of your program reservation.
